SOPHOMORE ~ (2012-13): 1-2 overall record ... competed in just one tournament on the season -- the Reno Tournament of Champions on Dec. 16 and went 1-2 while wrestling unattached ... picked up his win over Missouri Valley's Ryan Stearns via tech fall, 20-4. 

FRESHMAN ~ (2011-12): 21-15 overall record (8-8 duals) ... placed fourth at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships (March 4) by going 2-2 at the tournament ... won UNC's Old Chicago Open (Nov. 19) by going a perfect 5-0 and finished third at the Northwest College Open (Nov. 5) to open the season by going 4-1 ... went 2-2 at his first trip to the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational (Dec. 2-3) ... helped UVU defeat both Stanford and Cal Poly on Feb. 3 in Palo Alto, Calif. with two wins that night ... posted two pins, three tech falls, four major decisions and nine wins via decision. 

REDSHIRT ~ (2010-11): Redshirted the season and went 16-6 while wrestling unattached for the year. 

Before Utah Valley ...
Prepped at Uintah High School in Vernal ... was a three-time Utah State Champion and a Utah State Runner-up ... placed second at Junior Nationals ... was the high school team captain his senior year.

Graduated from Uintah HS in 2010 ... plans on majoring in Physics at UVU ... parents are Vince and Tammy Christensen.
