SOPHOMORE ~ (2008-09): 10-14 overall record in (3-5 duals) ... began the season as a backup at 174 lbs. but stepped up to fill a vacant heavyweight slot for UVU going 3-5 while competing at HWT ... went 2-0 (competing HWT) against Trevor Stapp from Mesa State and Frank Sandoval or CSU-Pueblo at the Tracy Borah Duals ... biggest win of the season came at North Dakota State on Feb. 7, 2009 as he was able to beat Tyler Hemmesch with the dual on the line, who outweighed him by almost 100 lbs., 3-2. 

FRESHMAN ~ (2004-05): Competed for the Wolverines posting a 1-7 overall record.

Prepped at Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi, Texas ... as a senior had a 38-7 record ... the 2004 Best Athlete ... a 2003-04 State Qualifier with a ninth place finish in State ... also played football in high school, was All-District in 2003.
