At Utah Valley University ...

SENIOR ~ (2012-13): 24-10 overall record (7-3 duals) ... NCAA Qualifier for the second straight season ... made it to the round of 16 at Nationals with a 2-2 record with wins over Illinois' Caleb Ervin and Virginia's Derek Valenti and losses to Oklahoma's Nick Lester and Virginia Tech's Nick Brascetta ... won his first conference title at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships with an medical default win over Air Force's Cole VonOhlen in the title bout ... named First Team All-WWC by winning the conference title ... named the WWC Wrestler of the Week on Nov. 13 after winning the Wolfpack Open title in Raleigh, N.C. on Nov. 11 with a 5-0 record ... placed eighth at the Midlands Championships on Dec. 30 after going 5-3 ... led UVU in wins on the season with 24, dual points with 31 and tech falls with two ... went 4-1 in WWC duals ... ranked 20th on the final InterMat poll, 21st on the final Coaches' Ranking and 23rd on the final RPI ... won six bouts by major decision, two by tech fall and 13 by decision. 

JUNIOR ~ (2011-12): 20-11 overall record (9-4 duals) ... NCAA Qualifier, went 2-2 at his first trip to the NCAA Championships in St. Louis, Mo. (March 15-17) and picked up wins over Missouri's Kyle Bradley (7-3) and Rutgers' Mario Mason (4-2) ... named to the WWC All-Academic Team and the NWCA All-Academic Team ... placed second at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships by going 2-1 at the tournament in Cedar Falls, Iowa (March 4) ... Ranked as high as 8th by InterMat during the season ... placed fifth at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite (Dec. 2-3) and knocked off three ranked foes during the tournament and going 4-2, he also finished sixth at the Midlands Championships (Dec. 29-30) by going 4-3 ... defeated two would-be All-Americans during the year; Ohio State's Cam Tessari and Oregon State's Scott Sakagucki ... posted one win by fall, three by major decision and 16 by decision. 

SOPHOMORE ~ (2010-11): 20-10 overall record (7-2 duals) ... named to both the NWCA Individual All-Academic Team and the WWC All-Academic Team with a 3.70 GPA ... placed third at the Northwest Trapper Open on Nov. 6 and fourth at the Kaufman-Brand Open on Nov. 20 ... also went 3-2 at the Southern Scuffle on Dec. 29 ... won his first four dual bouts of the year and finished by winning his last three ... won 13 of his matches by decision, four by major decision, and three by fall. 

FRESHMAN ~ (2009-10): Did not compete in 2009-10 due to a knee injury. 

REDSHIRT ~ (2008-09): Redshirted the 2008-09 season ... posted a 11-3 record while competing unattached on the year.

Prepped at Morgan High School ... posted a 41-3 record his senior season while competing at 145 pounds ... a two-time State Champion ... a State Runner-up ... three-time Region Champion ... was a National Champion at the High School Nationals as a junior and placed third as a senior ... wrestled for Coach Williams for six years in the Elite Wrestling Club ... also played football in high school, was second All-State in football and a Region Defensive MVP.
