FRESHMAN (2012)
Competed in three events for Utah Valley as a freshman ... finished a season-best 34th (20:48.50) at the Color Country Invite in Cedar City, Utah ... finished 63rd (21:34.65) at the Utah State Aggie Invitational ... placed 75th (23:40.80) at the BYU Autumn Classic.

Before Utah Valley
Set the school record in the 3200m run and the steeple chase...3200m Region Champion in 2008 and 2009...three-time All-State in cross country...Team was the cross country region champs in 2007 and 2008...Was the [apos]09 track MVP and the Most Inspirational track athlete in [apos]08...Was team captain in [apos]06-[apos]09

Son of Suzanne and Terry Hodson...Sister is UVU runner Brooke Hodson...Married Tosha Hales - a former UVU jumper and Sprinter - in 2012...Served an LDS Church mission to Ghana Cape Coast...Graduated from Timpanogos HS in 2009 with a 3.7 GPA...Plans to major in exercise science...Also played basketball.
