Earned Academic All-WAC honors...Again had a great showing at the Aggie Inviation on Aug. 31, placing second in the field (19:37.8) in the 5k...Participated in all seven meets for the Wolverines including the WAC championships and the NCAA Division I Mountain Region Championships...Placed 30th at the WAC Championships in the 5k (19:639.6) and placed 89th (22.26.9) at the NCAA championships in the 6k event.

FRESHMAN (2012)
Finished fourth among UVU runners and 19th overall at Aggie Invite (18:43.2) in her first collegiate competition...Placed 32nd at BYU Autumn Classic (18:58.2)...Took 89th at Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis (23:23.1)...Finished 15th at Color Country Invite (15:00.7)...Placed 95th at NCAA Pre-Nationals in Louisville (22:51.4)...Was ninth overall with a time of 18:51 as UVU women's cross country captured unprecedented fifth straight Great West Conference Championship...Took 77th at NCAA Mountain Region Championship in Fort Collins, Colo. (22:34.6).

Placed 15th at the state cross country meet as a senior...Was an all-state selection...Was a team captain.

Daughter of Carrie and Merrill Hazel...Graduated from Jordan HS in 2012 with a 3.4 GPA...Also played basketball...Plans to major in behavioral science.
