Before Utah Valley…
 
High School: Competed in track and field at Richfield High School… won the UHSAA state title in the high jump in 2013… finished as runner-up in 2012 and third in 2013 in the high jump at the UHSAA 3A State Championships… held a long jump personal best of 6.55 meters and high jump personal record of 2 meters in high school career… received all-state honors in track and field, football and basketball… part of Richfield’s UHSAA Class 2A State Championship squad…. Also part of two track and field and one basketball team finishes at state championship events.

Son of Robert and Melissa Thomas... has one sister, Stefani, and three brothers, Josh, Kyle and Tyler… brother Josh is also on the UVU men’s track and field team… majoring in communications.
