Before Utah Valley...

High School: Attended Syracuse High School in Syracuse, Utah… set personal bests of 47.3 seconds in the 300m hurdles and 63.4 seconds in the 400m hurdles… led Syracuse to a high finish at the Utah 5A State Championships… placed fifth in the 100 hurdles at the Utah 5A State Championships, and third in the 300m hurdles as a junior...  finishhed fifth in 100 hurdles with a time of 15.18 seconds in the 5A state championships, and second in 300m hurdles with a time of 43.70 seconds in her senior year... also played basketball and soccer...
