At Utah Valley ...

SENIOR (2022): Led UVU with 19 appearances, all in relief… went 1-2 overall after throwing 31.1 innings… threw a season-high 3.0 innings against Utah Tech (04/16/22) and Grand Canyon (04/29/22… struck out four hitters at Washington (4/11/22) for a season-high.

JUNIOR/COVID YEAR (2021): Made 17 appearances all in relief on the season ... went 1-0 with a 6.23 ERA in 26.0 innings of work ... struck out 22 batters while walking just 14 ... allowed just 18 earned runs ... recorded five scoreless outings on the season ... earned his victory in a must-win season-finale with a trip to the WAC Tournament on the line at Seattle U by surrendering just one run on four hits while striking out four over 2.0 innings ... struck out a season-high twice on the season (at Seattle U and vs. Tarleton ... went a season-long 3.0 innings vs. Tarleton on April 17 ... recorded scoreless outings vs. GCU, vs. Washington State, at Dixie State, vs. BYU, and vs. New Mexico State ... registered seven assists and one putout.  

JUNIOR (2020): Made four appearances all in relief before having the season cut short due to COVID-19 ... went 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA over 5.0 innings of work ... struck out seven batters and walked just three on the season ... allowed no earned runs (one total) in his first outing of the season while giving up just two hits and striking out two at Abilene Christian on Feb. 15 ... also gave up just one hit and one run in an inning of relief work at Portland on Feb. 21 ... struck out a season-high four batters over an inning and two-thirds in what turned out to be the season finale on March 11.

SOPHOMORE (2019): Made 16 appearances all in relief ... posted a 1-1 record and a 9.92 ERA ... recorded 11 strikeouts in 16.1 innings ... logged seven scoreless outings on the year ... struck out two and allowed just one run over a season-high 3.0 innings of effective relief at Fresno State on Feb. 16 ... earned the win on the year after throwing and inning and a third of shutout relief with a pair of strikeouts at Northern Colorado on April 6 ... struck out a pair of batters on four different occasions on the year.

FRESHMAN (2018): Saw limited action, making four appearances in first season, finishing without a decision ... had 22.50 ERA and struck out three batters in 4.0 innings.

Before Utah Valley ...
Four year varsity starter.. Named team captain senior year.. Had an 11-1 record with 101 k’s and a 1.39 ERA in his senior year.. Named first team all CIF for the San Diego region.. Played three years of varsity football.. Named defensive player of the year in his senior year.. Wants to be a professional baseball player.. majoring in criminal justice.. parents are Maricela and Dominic Zeleny .. has two siblings: Bella, and Benjamin.
