JUNIOR ~ (2019): Competed in five meets on the year for the Wolverines ... recorded a total of four top-25 finishes on the season ... led the year with a ninth-place finish at the SUU Color Country Invite with a 4K time of 15:09.7 ... finished 15th at both the UC Riverside Invite (18:22.6, 5K) and the Utah XC Open (19:35.0, 5K) ... also placed 22nd at the season-opening UVU Vivint Invite with a 5K time of 19:48.7 ... had a season-best 5K time of 18:18.5 at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational ... earned Academic All-WAC honors. 

SOPHOMORE ~ (2018): In her first year running for UVU as a sophomore, Emily made her debut at the home opener and clocked in a time of 20:48 … had a top-10 finish for the Wolverines at the UCR Invitational … named as one of UVU's 2018 Academic All-WAC honorees.

Prepped at Salem Hills High School in Salem, Utah ... led high school cheer team to a third-place finish in the the state tournament ... didn't run track or cross country in high school ... also participated in dance.
