FRESHMAN/COVID YEAR ~ (2021): Played in 23 games which included 17 starts behind the plate ... hit .230 (14-for-61) with three homers, five doubles, 10 RBIs and 14 runs scored ... also walked 11 times and led the team with a .382 on-base percentage and finished second with a .459 slugging clip ... recorded a trio of multiple-RBI performances, a five-game hitting streak and an eight-game reached base safely streak ... had a three-hit contest on April 18 against Tarleton by going 3-for-4 with two doubles, a walk and three runs scored ... also had a three-RBI performance at Portland on March 13 by going 1-for-4 with a home run, a run scored and three RBIs ... added home runs on the season vs. GCU on April 2, at California Baptist on April 24 and against NM State on May 8 ... registered a .965 fielding percentage, 146 putouts and 20 assists ... also threw out nine would-be base stealers (9-for-38).  

FRESHMAN ~ (2020): Played and started four games at catcher before having his freshman season cut short due to COVID-19 ... batted .143 with two walks, an RBI and two runs scored ... went 1-for-4 with a run scored at San José State on Feb. 29 ... also posted a 1-for-4 outing with a walk, an RBI and a run scored in what turned out to be the season finale against Air Force on March 11 ... registered a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage and 31 putouts.

Before Utah Valley ...
Prepped at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, Ariz. ... earned All-Region accolades ... an Arizona HS All-Star ... tabbed Team Captain ... helped his team advance to the State championship his sophomore year as well as begin his junior campaign with his team ranked sixth in the nation ... played club ball for the Scottsdale Dirtbags, Canyon Thunder, and the Diamondbacks Scout Team ... also played football in high school.
