Prepped at Jan Mohr High School in Namibia ... was the junior national team captain in 2003 ... was the U-15, U-17 and U-18 200m and 400m champion ... was the 2004 Sportsmen of the Year ... was the 2005 senior champion in the 400m with a national time of 46.76 seconds ... in 2003 was ranked the second best junior in Africa ... had a time of 47.57 in the 400 and was ranked fifth at the World Youth Championships ... time of 47.58 in 2004 ranked 17th at the World Junior Games in Italy ... in 2005 ranked fourth at the Southern Africa champions where he ran a 46.55 in the 400m ... holds the Namibian youth 400m record at 47.57 and in 2004 set the Nambian Junior record at 46.55 ... played rugby and was on the U-15 regionals.
