JUNIOR ~ (2008): Was the 2007-08 Men[apos]s Scholar Athlete of the Year ... (INDOOR) at the BYU Invite placed 6th (8:53.54) in the 3000m ... at the Blue & Orange Invite placed 3rd (8:47.76) in the 3000m ... placed 3rd in the 5000m (15:21.37) and 2nd in the 1 mile (4:21.36) at the Mountain State Games ... (OUTDOOR) finished 9th in the 5000m (16:17.39) at the BYU Invite ... ran a (34:17.88) in the 10,000m at the UCLA Invite ... finished 1st in the 5000m (15:38.02) at 2008 National Athletic Conference Championships and helped UVU[apos]s men[apos]s team finish 1st place overall.

Prepped at Timpview High School ... team was the 2000 state runners up in cross country and the 2001 stare runners up in track ... was the 2001 cross country most valuable runner at Timpveiew ... is the 1600 meter record holder at the Bob Rasmussen Relays ... attended UV out of high school while the school was still a junior college ... was the UVSC cross country Athlete of the Year in 2002 and the UVSC Male Athlete of the Year in 2003 ... was an NJCAA Academic All-American in 2002 ... an NJCAA All-America winner in 2002 ... attended BYU in 2005 and 2006 but did not compete.
