SOPHOMORE ~ (2010): (INDOOR) Did not compete ... (OUTDOOR) qualified for the 2010 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field West Regional in the javelin with a qualifying mark of 63.82m to open the season at the UNLV Classic ... was one of UVU[apos]s first-ever competitors at the NCAA[apos]s as he just missed qualifying for the NCAA Championships finishing in 27th place in the javelin throw at the West Regional at the Univ. of Texas with 59.66m or 195[apos]-09[quote] ... won the javelin throw at the GWC Outdoor Championships in Yankton, S.D. with a throw of 61.08m or 200[apos]-05[quote] ... had a high mark of 61.09m at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif. ... was UVU[apos]s top performer in the javelin all season long.

FRESHMAN ~ (2009): (INDOOR) Did not compete ... (OUTDOOR) broke the school record in the javelin throw and also won the event at the GWC Outdoor Championships in Houston, Texas with a throw of 206[apos]03.50[quote] ... had a javelin throw of 185[apos]11[quote] at the SUU Invitational in Cedar City, Utah.

Before Utah Valley: Prepped at Hurricane High School ... broke the school record in the javelin throw ... track & field team won State and Region ... also played football and baseball for the Tigers ... named First-Team All-State for football.

Personal: Graduated from Hurricane High School in 2006 with a 3.8 GPA ... a Honor Roll Student ... majoring in Business at UVU ... served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to Argentina ... enjoys the outdoors ... married Cami Olsen on May 23, 2009 ... parents are Mark and Jill.
