Prepped at Viewmont High School ... received Exemplary Athletic Skedros Scholarship ... won State and Region ... competed in the pole vault, 4x400, and 4x100 in high school ... also played football where he was selected as All-County for Defense.

Graduated from Viewmont High School in 2008 with a 3.6 GPA ... enjoys playing golf, ping-pong, and watching college football ... his brother Adam currently pole vaults at Weber State ... parents are Garth and Karen.
