FRESHMAN ~ (2019-20): 11-16 overall record (4-10 in duals) as a starter at both 141 and 149 pounds as a true freshman ... also went 6-10 against fellow Big 12 Conference opponents ... capped his freshman campaign with a podium finish at the 2020 Big 12 Championships by placing seventh at 149 pounds with a 3-2 record, which included an opening-round win over No. 30 Jaron Jensen of Wyoming ... earned a Journeymen Collegiate Classic title by winning the 141C bracket with a perfect 3-0 showing ... finished with a 1-2 showing at his first trip to the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite ... picked up dual wins over Sacred Heart's Gerard Daly, Stanford's Dawson Sihavong, NDSU's Jaden Van Maanen and West Virginia's Liam Lusher ... tied for the team lead in pins with three ... won three bouts by fall, one by tech fall, one by major decision and six by decision.
