Started 51 games ... hit .326 with four homeruns ... had 19 multi-hit games ... Feb 9th against Southern Utah he went 3-for-4 with four RBI and a homerun ... Against Sacramento State on Mar 17th he went 5-for-5 with a double and a run scored ... On Mar 22nd he went 2-for-4 with four RBI and a run scored against San Francisco ... Against Washington State on May 7th he went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored.

Prepped at Payson High School ... his junior and senior seasons he was All-Region and All-State ... was a 2001 Baseball Factory second team All-American ... junior year team took second in state ... was the MVP at Utah County Journal All Star Game.
