Eric Vasquez is entering his first season on coach Eric Madsen's staff and comes to Utah Valley after spending last season as the Director of Baseball Operations at Cal State Northridge.
Vasquez' coaching career at the collegiate level has taken him all over the United States, including stints at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Jacksonville University, Palm Springs, California and Eureka, Illinois.
He also coached at the high school level, while serving as the athletic director, at Campo Verde High School in Gilbert, Arizona and was the head varsity coach at Cesar Chavez High School in Laveen, Arizona.
His spent his playing career at Fullerton College in Fullerton, California from 1991-93 and was pitcher and outfielder. He earned a bachelor's degree in human services from Cal State Fullerton in 1997 and both a master's degree in educational counseling from the University of Phoenix.
