SOPHOMORE/COVID YEAR ~ (2021): Made 10 appearances which included one start on the mound in 2021 ... went 0-1 with a 6.27 ERA in 18.2 innings of work ... struck out 15 batters while walking walking 11 on the year ... allowed just 13 earned runs ... went a season-long 3.2 innings in which he surrendered just one earned run and struck out a season-best four batters against Sacramento State on March 21 ... made his first start at the NCAA Division I level against Utah on April 20 and struck out three hitters in the ballgame ... tossed a pair of scoreless outings on the season in which he went 2.0 innings in both against Grand Canyon and Tarleton ... also struck out three batters twice on the year ... registered a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with one assist.
