Senior (2007): Led team and was second among all Division I independent players with a .401 batting average and 66 runs batted in ... third among independents with 15 home runs ... named to Division I All-Independent 1st Team. Junior ~ (2006):
Started 24 games ... hit .274 with 16 RBI and one homerun ... had six multi-hit games ... Against Southern Utah on Feb 11th he went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI.

Before Utah Valley ...
Prepped at Layton High School ... his team won their region in 1999 ... he was named three time All-Region and three time All-State in baseball ... he also played football in high school.

Born September 10, 1982 ... graduated from Layton High School in 2001 with a 3.4 GPA ... majoring in physical education ... served a LDS mission in Venezuela ... also attended Salt Lake Community College where his team won the SWAC in 2001 ... he enjoys foosball, fly fishing, VW[apos]s and RBI Baseball ... Married to Meggan Poulson last February ... parents are Dave and Christine.
