NCAA qualifier ... named First Team All-WWC after winning his first NCAA West Regional/WWC Championship on March 8 in Orem with a perfect 2-0 clip ... named to the NWCA Individual All-Academic Team as well as the WWC All-Academic squad ... went 0-2 at his first trip to Nationals ... led the team in duals victories (11), dual points (40) and major decisions (4) ... posted a 3-2 WWC dual record ... ranked 30th on the final Coaches' Panel Ranking ... posted a seven-match winning streak on the year ... recorded four wins by major decision, one by fall and nine by decision ... finished his career with a 75-51 career record at UVU. 

JUNIOR ~ (2012-13): 20-11 overall record (8-2 duals) ... named Second Team All-WWC after placing second at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships with a 1-1 record ... named to the NWCA Individual All-Academic Team as well as the WWC All-Academic squad ... went a perfect 5-0 in WWC duals and 10-3 overall against competitors from the WWC ... placed sixth at the Wolfpack Open in Raleigh, N.C. on Nov. 11 with a 5-2 record ... went 4-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions on Dec. 16 ... led the team with eight dual victories and finished third on the team in wins with 20 ... won three bouts by major decision, two by fall and 15 by decision. 

SOPHOMORE ~ (2011-12): 21-15 overall record (6-9 duals) ... named to the WWC All-Academic Team ... placed third at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships (March 4) by going 3-1 ... won the Northwest College Open (Nov. 5) by going a perfect 4-0 and placed third at UNC's Old Chicago Open (Nov. 19) by finishing 3-1 ... went 3-2 at the Midlands Championships (Dec. 29-30) and 2-2 at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite ... posted one win by tech fall, four by fall, six by major decision and nine by decision. 

FRESHMAN ~ (2010-11): 20-15 overall record (0-1 duals) ... Named to the WWC Coaches[apos] Honor Roll with a 3.33 GPA ... wrestled at both 141 and 149 on the year and went 12-8 at 141 and 8-7 at 149 ... placed fourth at the Cowboy Open in Laramie, Wyo. on Nov. 13 after going 4-2 ... went 3-2 at the UNK Loper Open and 2-2 at the Southern Scuffle ... won eight bouts by decision, seven by fall, two by tech fall and two by major decision. 

REDSHIRT ~ (2007-08): Redshirted the 2007-08 season for UVU ... posted an 8-7 record while competing at 133 pounds unattached ... picked up three victories at the Cowboy Open, November 10, 2007 in Laramie, Wyo.

Wrestled at Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho ... posted a 35-2 record his senior season for the Patriots ... he was a two time state champion, and a Cadet Greco All-American ... he helped his team to a district and state championship his senior season ... he also played football and ran track.

Born February 9, 1989 in San Antonio, Texas ... graduated from Centennial High School in 2007 with a 3.8 GPA ... he was on the Honor Roll and was Academic All-State in wrestling ... is an Eagle Scout ... majoring in Exercise Science at UVU ... something unique is that he can speak Thai ... enjoys fishing, dance parties, tennis, ping pong, camping, guitar and the ukulele ... son of Eric and Gloria Garner.
