PROVO, Utah - Utah Valley State saw a three run lead in the ninth turn into a four run Albertson College lead. For the second time in four games the Wolverines took big leads into the ninth inning only to see them evaporate and turn into losses.

The Wolverines tied the game in the bottom of the fifth and took a three run advantage in the seventh capped by a three run homerun by
Josh Hinckley.
Then came the bad dream ninth inning.

The Wolverines added a single run in the next two innings to take 4-1 lead. The Coyotes cut the UVSC lead to 4-3 with two runs in the top of the fifth inning. Two hits and a Wolverine throwing error lead to the runs.
UVSC came right back to score two runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 6-3 lead which ended up being the final score.
Tash, who pitched 11 innings in his last start, went seven strong to earn UVSC's first complete game of the year. Tash scattered five hits, and only walked one batter. He gave up three runs (two earned) to earn the victory and run his record to 3-3 on the year.
