OREM, UTAH - The Utah Valley State wrestling team hosts Portland State Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the Activity Center. The Wolverines are 1-9 in dual meets this year but they did wrestle well at Arizona State on Monday.

"The guys wrestled really hard and the Arizona State coach said he was impressed with our team," Sanderson said. "I was much more pleased with our guys today than last Friday when we lost to Northern Colorado. The guys are making a lot of improvement."

Portland State enters the meet with a 0-8 record in dual meets.

Following Thursday's meet, the Wolverines wrestle at Western State on Jan. 20. Their next home meet is Feb. 12 against Wyoming.
