OREM, Utah – Fresh off of taking a conference series over CSU Bakersfield at home this past weekend, the Utah Valley University softball team will continue its homestand against neighboring foe BYU on Tuesday. The Wolverines and Cougars will face-off in a non-conference affair at 3 p.m. at Wolverine Field.
Â
The contest will mark the second meeting of the season between the in-state foes. Utah Valley took care of business against the Cougars in the previous meeting, as sophomore
Bailey Moore pitched just the second no-hitter in program history en route to a 13-0 run-rule win over the Brigham Young. The Wolverines also collected seven hits at the plate, including a grand slam from fellow sophomore
Hailey Kofler, to help UVU earn its first-ever win over BYU in Provo on March 21.
