Luke Iverson hit his first career home run in the first inning with a solo shot over the right field fence, and
Calyn Halvorson added his first in the seventh with a solo homer over the center field batter's eye.
The Wolverines added three runs in the sixth inning on a bases-loaded two-run single from
Parker Applegate, and
Braxton Vick brought home a run on a sac fly.
Utah Valley returns to WAC play this weekend with a big three-game series against Utah Tech in the Old Hammer Rivalry. The Wolverines have won four out of their last five against the Trailblazers, including an 8-6 win on Apr. 17 in Orem. The series starts on Apr. 28 with a 6:05 p.m. MT start and continues on Apr. 29 at 2:05 p.m. MT before wrapping up on Apr. 30 at 12:05 p.m. MT.
