OREM—The Utah Valley University women's soccer team is ranked No. 9 in the first United Soccer Coaches Pacific Region Top 10 Poll of the season.
The Wolverines spent several weeks in the poll last year, climbing as high as No. 4 towards the end of the 2022 season.
Utah Valley went 1-0-1 to open the season last week at the OUTRIGGER Kickoff Classic in Hawaii. The Wolverines played host Hawaii to a 1-1 draw before defeating Houston Christian 5-1.
Faith Webber scored three goals over the two matches and was named the Kickoff Classic Most Outstanding Player. She also earned WAC Player of the Week honors for her play in the Aloha State.
UVU opens its home slate on Thursday night against No. 19 Clemson. Kickoff at Clyde Field is set for 7:30 p.m.
