SALT LAKE CITY—Utah Valley University dropped a game on Tuesday to the University of Utah at Smith's Ballpark. With the victory, Utah (24-11) completed the season sweep of Utah Valley (19-19).
The Wolverines worked through a bullpen day on Tuesday, losing 27-4 to Utah. Utah is coming off a series win against Arizona State, in which it outscored the Sun Devils 24-8.

Luke Iverson finished 2-for-2 with a pair of RBI doubles. The first came in the top of the second inning with a double to right center, before he scored the first run of the game for UVU on a double by
Isaac Lovings. His second double came in the fourth inning, scoring
Jayden Smith.
Daniel Dickinson tied Chris Benson's school record at 34 career stolen bases. He reached on a fielding error by the Utah third baseman on a scorched ball before taking off on the next pitch to
Burke Camper for No. 33 and then added No. 34 on the following pitch to get to third base.
Calyn Halvorson knocked him home on a groundout to second.
Isaac Lovings finished 1-for-2 on the day with a double to reach base in his tenth consecutive game.
The Wolverines host fifth-place UT Arlington this weekend in a crucial WAC series beginning on Friday night at UCCU Ballpark. UVU currently sits in a tie for third place with Abilene Christian and is only a game back of first place California Baptist and Grand Canyon.
