Chloe Jang shot a 1-over-par 73 on Sunday to lead the Utah Valley women's golf team in the first round of the Wolverine Invitational at TalonsCove Golf Club.

As a team, Utah Valley carded an 8-over-par 296 and is in sixth place in the 10-team field. UC Riverside sits atop the leaderboard at 5-under-par 283.

Jang led UVU with her 1-over-par 73 and is tied for 14th place in the 62-player field. She recorded three birdies and 12 pars in her opening round.

Rylie Rodriguez* carded a 2-over-par 74 and is tied for 21st on the individual leaderboard.
Pati Uluave also shot a 2-over-par 74 and is tied for 21st.

Valentina Zuleta is tied for 29th after shooting a 3-over-par 75.
Mia Pace is tied for 37th at 4-over-par 76.

Millie Terrion, playing as an individual, is tied for 43rd after carding a 6-over-par 78.
Maria Ortiz and
Katelin Bingham are also playing as individuals. Ortiz shot a 7-over-par 79 and is tied for 48th, while Bingham is tied for 50th after shooting an 8-over-par 80.
Lilly Wagstaff, also competing individually, carded a 9-over-par 81 and is tied for 53rd.

Lily Shin, both playing individually, are tied for 56th after carding scores of 10-over-par 82.
