ARLINGTON, Texas—Three Utah Valley women's soccer student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators Women's Soccer Academic All-America® Teams, the organization announced Wednesday.
Graduate forward Faith Webber earned Academic All-America® First Team honors, while senior midfielder Ruby Hladek and junior defender Mia Owens were both selected to the Academic All-America® Third Team in NCAA Division I women's soccer.
With the three selections, Utah Valley has now produced an Academic All-America® honoree in women's soccer in four consecutive seasons, continuing a tradition of excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
Webber, who holds a 4.0 GPA while pursuing a graduate degree in public administration and completed her undergraduate degree with a 3.95 GPA, adds another national academic honor to a historic career. The graduate forward earned First Team All-WAC and WAC All-Tournament Team honors while leading the nation in total goals with 22. She also ranked first nationally in shots per game (6.82) and shots on goal per game (3.14), second nationally in game-winning goals (7), third nationally in total points (48), and fourth nationally in points per game (2.18). Webber capped her Utah Valley career as the program's all-time leader in shots (439), points (70), and goals (157). Earlier this postseason, Webber was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Pacific Region First Team and the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Hladek earned her Academic All-America® Third Team selection after posting a 3.76 GPA while working toward a degree in digital marketing. The senior was named the 2025 WAC Offensive Player of the Year and earned First Team All-WAC and All-Pacific Region First Team honors following one of the most productive attacking seasons in program history. Hladek finished with 15 goals and 13 assists, ranking sixth nationally in total assists, eighth nationally in total points (43) and 11th nationally in assists per game (0.59). She concluded her Utah Valley career as the program's all-time leader in assists and was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Owens, a junior defender with a 3.95 GPA while pursuing a degree in marketing, was also selected to the Academic All-America® Third Team. The 2025 WAC Defensive Player of the Year anchored a Utah Valley back line that recorded seven shutouts on the season, including five in conference play. Owens started all 22 matches, added a goal and two assists, and earned First Team All-WAC, WAC All-Tournament Team and All-Pacific Region Second Team honors. She was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team earlier this year.
The trio helped lead Utah Valley to a 14-5-3 record, a fourth straight WAC regular-season championship and an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament, as the Wolverines finished among the nation's top offensive teams while continuing to excel academically.
