The Utah Valley men's golf team heads to Payson, Arizona, for the 2025 WAC Men's Golf Championship, April 25–27, at the Golf Club at Chaparral Pines. The winner of this week's championship will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals.
Tournament Format
The WAC Championship is a 54-hole event played over three days, with 18 holes each day on the par-72, 7,019-yard Chaparral Pines course.

Championship Field & Seeding
Utah Valley enters the championship as the No. 2 seed, behind top-seeded Grand Canyon. The nine-team field also includes Utah Tech, Seattle U, Abilene Christian, California Baptist, Tarleton State, UT Arlington, and Southern Utah.
About UVU
The Wolverines enter the WAC Championship ranked No. 126 in the Clippd national rankings. UVU has earned two team titles and four top-three finishes during the 2024–25 season, highlighted by victories at the Utah Collegiate Shootout in October and the Mesquite Desert Classic in February.
Leading the way is sophomore Dane Huddleston, who is ranked No. 62 nationally in Clippd and is the WAC's top-ranked player heading into the championship. Huddleston has four individual titles and six top-three finishes in 10 events this season, including three straight wins between the fall and spring seasons.
Last Time at WACs
Utah Valley finished eighth at last year's WAC Championship at Chaparral Pines, posting a team score of 31-over-par 895 (293-302-300). Huddleston led UVU with a tie for seventh individually at 2-over-par 218 (71-74-73).
Course Information
Golf Club at Chaparral Pines is located in Payson, Arizona. The championship layout plays as a par 72 and will be set up at 7,019 yards. This will be the second consecutive WAC Championship hosted at Chaparral Pines.
Team UVU
Competing for Utah Valley this week will be Dane Huddleston, Ryan Seamons, Paxton Maxwell, Ethan Efford, and Clement Lepine. Andrew Hawk will travel as the alternate.
