OREM — Utah Valley University graduate forward
Faith Webber has earned two national preseason honors from Top Drawer Soccer, being ranked as the 15th-best player in the nation in the 2025 Women's National Top-100 list and named to the Top Drawer Soccer Preseason Best XI Second Team, the organization announced Tuesday. The preseason accolades spotlight the top returning NCAA Division I women's soccer players and just 22 total athletes across the country on the Best XI teams.
Webber, one of the most decorated players in UVU history, enters her graduate season as both the reigning WAC Offensive Player of the Year and the 2025 WAC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year after leading the nation in goals per game in 2024 (0.95). A three-time First Team All-WAC and United Soccer Coaches All-Pacific Region honoree, she also earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® honors last season. Webber has helped lead Utah Valley to three straight WAC regular season championships and the program's first-ever at-large NCAA Tournament berth in 2022.
She currently holds seven career program records, including points (109), goals (48), and goals per game (0.81), while also setting four single-season records in 2024 for goals (18), points (38), shots attempted (110), and shots on goal (56). Webber needs just one more game-winner to tie the UVU career record of 14. Her career also includes multiple national and conference weekly awards, three hat tricks, and recognition on Top Drawer Soccer's midseason and preseason Top-100 lists in each of the past three years.
"Faith has been playing well in camp," said UVU head coach
Chris Lemay. "She spent time training over the summer with some NWSL teams and addressed a couple areas of her game that could be improved. She is sharp, excited and ready to contribute to the team's success. I anticipate seeing an even better Faith than previous seasons."
Webber and the Wolverines open the 2025 campaign on Aug. 14 at Idaho State before making their debut in the new UCCU Stadium on Aug. 18 against Utah.
