Utah Valley men's golf opens season at Ram Masters Invitational

Utah Valley University men's golf continues its fall schedule this week at the 13th annual Ram Masters Invitational, Sept. 11-12, at Fort Collins Country Club in Fort Collins, Colorado. The two-day, 54-hole event marks UVU's first trip of the season to the Centennial State.

Tournament Format
The 54-hole tournament will open with 36 holes of continuous play on Thursday, beginning with an 8 a.m. MT shotgun start. Friday's final round will feature tee times beginning at 9:30 a.m. MT, with groups repaired by leaderboard position. The low four scores each round will count toward the team total.

Tournament Field
The 16-team Ram Masters Invitational field includes:
UC San Diego, Weber State, Colorado State, Utah Valley, Long Beach State, Utah Tech, Sacramento State, Denver, UC Santa Barbara, CSU Northridge, Wichita State, Illinois State, Utah State, UC Davis, Wyoming, and CSU Fullerton.

Course Information
Fort Collins Country Club will serve as the host course for the Ram Masters Invitational. The par-70 layout will play at 7,234 yards and is known for its challenging design with tree-lined fairways and demanding greens. The Rams posted a tournament-record 22-under par on their home track last season, including a 13-under final round that ranked among the lowest in the event's history.

Live scoring will be available throughout the tournament at Clippd Scoreboard.

Competing for Utah Valley this week will be: Andrew Hawk will also compete as an individual.

Following the Ram Masters Invitational, Utah Valley will compete at the Utah Wohali Invitational, Sept. 15-16, at Soldier Hollow Golf Course in Midway, Utah.
