PALM DESERT, Calif.—Utah Valley dropped a 4-1 decision to Washington State on Wednesday at The Classic Club to conclude play at the Mountain Classic Match Play.

Valentina Zuleta secured the Wolverines' lone point of the day with a 2&1 victory over Grace Rubelsky. After dropping the first two holes, Zuleta rallied and built momentum on the back nine before closing out the match on the 17th hole.

Alyssa Butterfus fell in a tightly contested 1&0 match to Anya Cedo. Pati Uluave dropped a 2&1 decision to Agnes Brink, while Maria Ortiz was defeated 2&1 by Hannah Harrison. Chloe Jang fell to Kaitlyn Helm 7&5.

Utah Valley concludes the three-day Mountain Classic Match Play event at The Classic Club.
