MCKINNEY, Texas—Chloe Jang fired a second-round 74 (+2) to remain in contention and lead the Utah Valley women's golf team through two rounds of the 2026 WAC Women's Golf Championship on Tuesday at The Hills Course at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club.
Utah Valley sits in fourth place in the seven-team field at +33 (298-311—609) heading into Wednesday's final round. Tarleton State and Abilene Christian are tied for the team lead at +19, while UT Arlington is third at +31.
Jang is tied for fourth individually at +2 (72-74—146) after carding her second straight round in the mid-70s. She trails the individual leader by two shots entering the final 18 holes.
Maria Ortiz also posted a strong round for the Wolverines, matching Jang with a second-round 74 (+2). Ortiz moved into a tie for ninth place at +6 (76-74—150).
Valentina Zuleta is tied for 15th at +11 (73-82—155), while Pati Uluave is tied for 23rd at +14 (77-81—158). Rylie Rodriguez rounds out the UVU lineup in 34th at +21 (81-84—165).
Utah Valley will tee off the final round beginning at 8:50 a.m. CT on Wednesday. Rylie Rodriguez opens play for the Wolverines at 8:50 a.m., followed by Pati Uluave (9:00 a.m.), Valentina Zuleta (9:10 a.m.), Maria Ortiz (9:20 a.m.) and Chloe Jang (9:30 a.m.).
