Nate Rasmussen has announced the program's 2026 fall baseball schedule. The Wolverines will host five dates of competition at UCCU Ballpark as they prepare for their first season in The Big West Conference. All games will begin at 7 p.m. MDT, and admission to UCCU Ballpark is free.
The Wolverines will open the fall season against Utah State University Eastern on Saturday, Sept. 26. The Eagles finished 29-29 overall and 10-14 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference last season before falling to Salt Lake Community College in the opening round of the District 18 Tournament.
Salt Lake Community College will visit Orem on Oct. 3 after posting a 39-18 record last season and advancing to its second consecutive NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado. The Bruins went 0-2 at the tournament, falling to Blinn College and Midland College.
Utah Valley will host the defending SWAC champion College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles on Saturday, Oct. 10. CSI returns to Orem for its second consecutive fall appearance after compiling a 43-14 overall record and a 17-7 conference mark last season. The Golden Eagles' season ended with a loss to Salt Lake Community College in the District 18 Championship.
The College of Southern Nevada will make the trip to Orem on Oct. 17. The Coyotes finished 37-13 overall and 22-8 in Region 1 play last season before going 0-2 in the Region 1 Division I Baseball Tournament, with losses to Central Arizona College and Cochise College.
