Before Utah Valley … prepped at Bothell High School in Bothell, Wash., … holds the all-time record for strikeouts at Bothell … threw 69 2/3 innings his senior year with 72 strikeouts and a 1.10 ERA … also hit .355 during his senior year with 33 hits with 13 extra-base hits … helped Bothell to third place finish at the state tournament.
