Junior (2009): Was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2009 MLB draft ... was named to the Division I All-Independent First Team ... went 8-4 with a 4.73 ERA ... made 17 appearances, 15 of which were starts ... led Wolverines in wins, ERA, innings pitched (91.1), k[apos]s (91) and batting average against (.261) ... had two double-digit strikeout games ... first came at Nevada on March 28 when he struck out 11 and allowed two runs on five hits in 7.0 innings ... struck out 10 in final start of season at Hawai[apos]i, allowed just one run on five hits in 8.1 innings ... pitched seven-inning complete game in win over Air Force on April 3 ... allowed one run on seven hits in 7.0 innings in win at Northern Colorado on May 2.
