Prepped at Green River High School ... was a two time state champ in 2000 and 2001 ... holds a state record for consecutive strikeouts in a game at 10 his senior season ... was the 1A MVP his senior year and All-State as a pitcher his freshmen thru junior years ... was also the 1A MVP for basketball his senior year and All-State basketball his junior ... his team also won the state championship his junior year ... he also played golf and ran track in high school.

Born September 1, 1982 ... graduated from Green River High School in 2001 with a 3.9 GPA ... majoring in excercise science ... was on the Honor Roll and was Academic All-State in baseball ... enjoys golfing, camping, hunting and riding four wheelers ... father played basketball at Snow College, brother greg played baseball at CEU, Uncle played basketball at BYU and his cousin played basketball and SUU ... parsons also attended Snow College (01), CEU (02) and BYU (03) ... parents are Stanford and Teri Ann.
