Before Utah Valley...
Prepped at Mountain View HS in Orem, Utah...Named Region 7 Academic All-Region in 2011...Recieved Second Team All-State honor in 2011...Helped Mountain View HS to a first place finish at the Utah 4A Cross Country Championships in 2011 and third place in 2010...Also played volleyball.

Graduated from Mountain View HS...Daughter of David and Toni Carlson...Has four brothers and one sister...Her father (David) played baseball for Utah Valley University.
