At Utah Valley ...
REDSHIRT ~ (2014): Redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons. 

FRESHMAN ~ (2013): (INDOOR) Took fourth in the 3000m (8:48.10) and fifth in the 5000m (15:26.09) at the Great West Conference Indoor Championships ... placed second in the 3000m at the Jackson[apos]s Open and Multis with a time of 8:55.44 ... (OUTDOOR) placed fifth in the 10,000m (33:50.38) and sixth in the 5000m (15:39.03) at the GWC Outdoor Championships ... won the 5000m at the SDSU Aztec Invitational with a personal record of 15:08.56. 

Before Utah Valley ...
Cross country team captain ... Team placed fourth in the California state meet ... At one point team was ranked 17th in the nation.

Son of Laura and Brian Emery ... Graduated from Great Oak HS in 2012 with a 3.67 GPA ... Was a member of the AVID program for two years ... Helped out at a homeless shelter ... Sister Shannon Emery runs at Colorado Mesa University ... Also recruited by Western State ... Plans to major in business.
