At Utah Valley...

JUNIOR (2015): Ran at the Roy Griak Invitational and finished the 8K course with a time of 26:54.4...ran a time of 25:54.7 at Pre-Nationals on the 8K course... finished in 23rd place at the Western Athletic Conference Championships (7.95K course) with a time of 25:32.5....ran a time of 32:39.1 on the 10K course at the Division I Mountain Regional Championships.. 

SOPHOMORE (2014): Participated in five meets for the Wolverines and participated in the WAC Championship meet, where he finished in 17th place overall with a time of 26:17.2 on the 8K course...Had a season best 8k time of 25:19.9 at the Bronco Invitational (Invite Section) and finished 101st overall...Finished in 14th overall in the UNLV XC Invite on the 3.94 mile course with a time of 19:57.0. 

FRESHMAN (2013): Participated in six meets for the Wolverines and participated in the NCAA Championships as a true freshman...Finished 21st in the UVU Invite, his time of 19:12.1 was a season-best...Finished 94th (32:37.9) in the 10k at nationals.

Before Utah Valley...
Prepped at Mountain View High School here in Orem, Utah...Named Second Team All-State three times and First Team All-Region three times...Helped lead his track team to a second-place finish at State and helped his cross country team to two State Championships...Placed second in Region as an individual...Also played basketball and soccer in high school.

Graduated from Mountain View HS in 2013 with a 3.46 GPA...Born July 27, 1994...Plans to major in Psychology at UVU...Also recruited by Boise State, Utah State, Southern Utah and Weber State...Parents are Chad and Kenra Asay.
