At Utah Valley University ...

FRESHMAN ~ (09-10): 18-15 overall record (6-7 duals) ... won the UVU Open in Orem as he went 3-0, placed second at the NC State Wolfpack Open in Raleigh, N.C. by going 2-1, and placed third at the Cowboy Open in Laramie, Wyo. as he wrestled to a 4-1 record ... had a good freshman year for UVU at 197 lbs. as he won 18 matches, eight of those by fall, one by major decision, and one by tech fall. 

Before Utah Valley: Prepped at Modoc High School in Alturas, Calif. ... a two-time State Placer (third and fourth) ... placed seventh at Nationals ... posted a 54-5 record his senior year while wrestling at 215 lbs. 

Personal: Graduated from Modoc HS in 2009 ... enjoys hunting, fishing, and hanging out with his friends ... also recruited by multiple schools ... parents are Shaun and Patty.
