SENIOR (2019): Played and started 54 games on the season all at shortstop ... posted a .274 batting average and capped his collegiate career in a midst of a 30-game reached base safely streak ... finished second on the team in doubles with 12 ... also recorded three homers, one triple, 40 runs scored, 21 RBIs, a .381 slugging percentage and a .359 on-base clip ... posted 14 multi-hit games, six multi-RBI games and an 11-game hitting streak on the season ... went a perfect 4-for-4 twice on the year by going 4-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs at Air Force on April 9 as well as 4-for-4 with a homer, a double and two RBIs against Chicago State on April 13 ... earned WAC Hitter of the Week honors on May 13 after going 7-for-14 in a series win over the WAC Tournament champion Sac State Hornets ... he also posted a 4-for-5 outing with two homers and four runs scored in a win over Sacramento State ... capped his collegiate career by recorded at least a hit apiece in a trio of WAC Tournament games ... registered a .945 fielding percentage, 159 assists and 82 putouts. 

JUNIOR (2018): Started all 52 games at shortstop during season ... finished with a .298 batting average along with one home run and eight doubles ... scored a team-high 34 runs and tied for team lead with six stolen bases ... had 18 multi-hit games ... had a team-high 11-game hitting streak during the season and also had a 16-game streak in which he reached base ... went 4-for-5 with and RBI and three runs against Northern Colorado (March 24) ... had five, three-hit games.

SOPHOMORE (2017): Named to Academic All-WAC team ... Batted .270 with one homerun, 18 RBI.. Batted .323 in WAC play.. Started the year at second base but made the transition to shortstop.. Was second on the team with 215 at-bats. Had a six game hitting streak.. Howell went 5-11 in the series sweep at UTRGV.

FRESHMAN (2016): Named to Academic All-WAC team ... batted .297 with one home run, 13 doubles, 28 RBIs and four stolen bases ... started 54 games while appearing in 56 ... played exclusively at second during freshman season ... batted in leadoff spot for 42 of 54 starts ... finished with 20 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games ... had an 11-game hitting streak from May 10 through the WAC Tournament Championship game on May 28 ... went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs in win over Portland on March 12 ... drove in three runs in win over Minnesota on March 20 ... went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in a win over CSU Bakersfield in May 1 ... was 3-for-5 with two RBIs in win over Seattle U in WAC Tournament semifinal ... scored a run and had an RBI in 4-0 WAC Tournament championship win over Seattle U.

Before Utah Valley ... 
Prepped at Christian High School in El Cajon, Calif. ... captained football, baseball and basketball teams at Christian High ... helped CHS to CIF and State Baseball Championships in 2014 ... also helped CHS to two CIF Championships in football.
