Biography

At Utah Valley ...
Junior (2016): Named to spring Academic All-WAC Team for second straight season ... finished 2-3 with a 5.57 ERA ... made 18 appearances with 12 starts ... struck out 60 batters, second-highest on team, on 72.2 innings ... had career-best eight strikeouts against Saint Joseph's (Feb. 28) and at Grand Canyon (March 24) ... wins came vs Portland on March 11 and at Chicago State on May 20 ... was 0-0 with a 1.12 ERA in his six relief appearances on the year, striking out 19 in 16.0 innings ... longest outing of season came in no decision against UT Rio Grande Valley when he allowed just two runs in 7.1 innings on May 14, an eventual 3-2 win in 13 innings.

Sophomore (2015): Named to Spring Academic All-WAC Team … finished 2-5 with a 9.20 ERA in 14 appearances … pitched 29.1 innings pitched striking out 15 … started seven games … improved ERA to 2.70 against WAC opponents … had a season high six strikeouts at Cal State Northridge … against Texas-Pan American had two strikeouts while allowing only one hit and no earned runs. 

Freshman (2014): Made 22 appearances, two in a starting role as a freshman ... was 2-3 with a 5.49 ERA ... pitched 41.0 innings on the season ... earned first career win after 5.0 innings of scoreless relief against Northern Colorado on April 25 ... was the winning pitcher in win at New Mexico on May 5.

Attended Damonte Ranch High School in Reno, Nevada ... named first-team All-State in 2012 and 2013 ... also played football.
