At Utah Valley University ...

JUNIOR ~ (2015): (Outdoor) NCAA Finals Qualifier in the 3,000m steeplechase in Eugene, Oregon. Finished No. 22 in the country and earned Honorable Mention All-America honors. 

SOPHOMORE ~ (2014): NCAA Qualifier ... named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team as well as both the the winter and spring Academic All-WAC teams ... (INDOOR) named Second Team All-WAC in both the 4x400m relay and the 1-mile run after placing fourth and sixth, respectively, with times of 3:17.65 and 4:20.65 at the WAC Indoor Championships ... also placed seventh in the 800m run (1:55.17) at the WAC Championships ... won the 800m (1:53.57) and the 4x400m relay (3:18.16) at the Snake River Open ... also won the mile at the Mountain States Games with a time of 4:17.46 ... a one-time WAC Athlete of the Week ... (OUTDOOR) placed 20th in the 3000m steeplechase at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds with a time of 8:57.76 ... 2014 WAC Champion in the 3000m steeplechase as he won the event at the WAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 9:18.80 ... also named First Team All-WAC in the 800 and 4x400m relay with respective times of 1:51.72 and 3:12.75 at the WAC Championships ... won the 3000m Steeplechase at the Oxy Invite with a time of 8:59.94 ... took second in the 3000m steeplechase at the Mt. SAC Relays (9:02.67) ... placed fifth in the 800 (1:53.16) at the Oxy Distance Carnival and fifth in the 1500 (3:51.32) at the Ben Brown Invite ... set a new school record in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:04.40 ... a one-time WAC Athlete of the Week. 

REDSHIRT ~ (2013): Redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons. 

FRESHMAN ~ (2010): NCAA Qualifier ... named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team ... (INDOOR) Named the Great West Conference Male Newcomer of the Year ... at the GWC Indoor Championships at USD won the 1-mile run with a time of 4:17.98, placed second in the 800m run (1:55.42), and seventh in the 3000m run (8:50.72) ... named the GWC Male Athlete of the Week on Jan. 29 after he broke the school record in the 800m run with 1:52.70 and won both the 800m and the 1-mile at the Boise State Duals ... was UVU's top performer in the 800 and 1-mile on the indoor season ... (OUTDOOR) qualified for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field West Regional in three different events (800m, 1500m, and 3000m steeplechase) ... just missed the NCAA Championships in the three events as finished 16th in the 3000m steeplechase (8:58.33), 29th in the 1500m (3:49.09), and 35th in the 800m (1:50.62) at the NCAA West Regional ... broke all three school records in the three events with 1:49.31 in the 800m, 3:47.33 in the 1500m, and 8:56.38 in the 3000m steeplechase ... named the GWC Male Athlete of the Year and Newcomer of the Year ... at the GWC Outdoor Championships in Yankton, S.D. won the 800m run with a time of 1:50.89, won the 1500m run (3:52.05), and won the 3000m steeplechase (9:21.90) ... was also a member of the 4x400m relay team that broke that school record with 3:14.90 at SUU.

Prepped at Panguitch High School ... broke the 800m and 1600m run 1A State Records ... cross country team was State Champions his Sophomore and Junior years ... track team was State Champions his Freshman, Sophomore and Junior seasons ... also played baseball and basketball in high school ... First Team All-State in baseball and basketball.

Graduated from Panguitch High School in 2009 with a perfect 4.0 GPA ... was on the Honor Roll, the National Honor Society, a Sterling Scholar, as well as Academic All-State in basketball, baseball, track, and cross country ... enjoys to hunt, fish, and play all sports ... his sister Kalani plays on the UVU volleyball team and his dad ran track for SUU ... also recruited by BYU, Southern Utah, and Weber State ... parents are Troy and Ann Marie Norris. Married to women's basketball player Karlee Kartcher Norris.
