FRESHMAN ~ (2017-18): 11-9 overall record (5-3 in duals) at 141 pounds ... earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors ... wrestled his way to a 3-2 outing at the Reno Tournament of Champions ... also recorded a nice showing at his first Big 12 Championship by going 2-2 with bonus point wins over Northern Colorado's Ben Polkowske (12-4) and North Dakota State's McGwire Midkiff ... picked up his dual victories over NDSU's Nico Colunga (fall, 2:24), Fresno State's Chris De Loza (11-3), CSU Bakersfield's Noah Blakely-Beanes (19-6), Oklahoma's Mike Longo (12-10) and Northern Colorado's Ben Polkowske (10-2) ... with the dual on the line, he helped UVU knock off Big 12 power Oklahoma for the first time in program history with a hard fought 12-10 overtime victory over three-time NCAA qualifier and 26th-ranked Mike Longo ... went 6-5 on the season against fellow Big 12 foes ... picked up four wins by fall, five by major decision and two by decision.

REDSHIRT ~ (2016-17): Redshirted the 2016-17 season for the Wolverines ... compiled an 8-3 record while competing unattached at 141 pounds ... earned a third-place finish at the Colorado Mesa Open with a 3-1 record ... also registered a deep run at the Reno Tournament of Champions by recording a 5-2 record at the event ... won five matches by major decision and three by fall.
