REDSHIRT ~ (2019-20): Redshirted the 2019-20 season for the Wolverines ... compiled a 14-2 record while competing unattached at 165 and 174 pounds on the year ... won a trio of tournament titles on the season ... went a perfect 4-0 at each of the Cowboy Open (165), Colorado Mesa Open (165) and Rocky Mountain Open (174) on his way to earning tournament titles at all three events ... also posted a 2-2 outing at the Reno Tournament of Champions ... won four matches by fall, six by decision, two by major decision and one by tech fall.

Prepped at Wasatch High School in Heber City, Utah ... a two-time Utah High School State Champion ... a one-time high school All-American ... helped Wasatch to three State Championships as well as two Dual State Championships ... also played football and rugby in high school.
