OREM, Utah – The Utah Valley State baseball team added two more games against Weber State University. A doubleheader against the Wildcats will be played this Saturday at Spanish Fork High School.Â
The first game will start at 2:00 pm and will be a nine inning contest, and the second game will start 30 minutes after the first game ends, and will be a seven inning game.
Jed Jensen will get the start on the hill for the Wolverines in game one. Brady Drake, who was named UVSC's scholar athlete for the month of April, will get the call on the mound in game two.
The Wolverines (11-13) take a three game winning streak into Saturday's doubleheader, and will look to get to .500 for the first time this year. Since a slow 2-9 start, UVSC has won 9 of its last 13 games, including wins over NCAA Division I teams, Oregon State, Portland, and Northern Colorado.Â
