Orem, Utah - Utah Valley State will travel to Moraga, California for a three-game series at St. Mary's this Friday through Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 3pm MT on Friday and 2pm MT on Saturday and Sunday.
Tai Penrod, Bryan Smith and Jace Brinkerhoff are the scheduled starters for the Wolverines this weekend.
Utah Valley is coming off of two losses at Arizona last week to open the season. After suffering a promising 4-2 defeat in the opener, the Wolverines struggled to a 13-2 loss in the second game.

St. Mary's is 3-8 and has lost four straight games, but three of those games have come at LSU and two of losses by just one run. Most recently, the Gaels lost 6-3 at UC Davis on Tuesday.
Anthony Aliotti is batting .385 with eight RBI to lead SMC, while Kyle Jensen (.368, 8 RBI) and Randy Wells (.364, 11 RBI) also pace the Gaels offensively.
Closer Taylor Stanton has been nearly perfect, allowing just two walks over 6.2 innings of work while earning two saves on the season.
