Wolverines Host BYU on Tuesday Night at 7pm

OREM, Utah - Utah Valley baseball hosts BYU on Tuesday night at 7pm in the second of three games this season against the neighboring schools. GameTracker and live audio can be found at www.WolverineGreen.com.

BYU won the first game this season between the two and holds a 8-2 all-time series edge.

The Wolverines (19-25) are coming off of a series win against Pac-10 Washington over the weekend. UV set a school record with a 12-run second inning in a 17-9 win on Friday.

Freshman Jace Brinkerhoff had six hits in the series and is batting .414 on the year, tops among all Division I independent players. Brinkerhoff also has four home runs and 25 runs batted in and is in the midst of a 12-game hitting streak.

BYU (25-16) swept Air Force in Provo in Mountain West Conference action over the weekend.

Utah Valley will travel to Greeley, Colorado this week to face Air Force and Northern Colorado before returning home to battle Utah next Tuesday, May 8th.
