OREM, Utah - Utah Valley baseball heads back out on the road this week when it heads to Greeley, Colorado to face Air Force in a single game on Friday and Northern Colorado on Saturday and Sunday. Friday's contest begins at 11am MT with Saturday slated for a 3pm first pitch and Sunday a noon start. All of the weekend games will be played at Northern Colorado's Jackson Field.
The Wolverines (19-26) have lost two straight after Tuesday's 2-1 heartbreaker in 12 innings at home to BYU. Marcus Moore threw 8 1/3 scoreless innings and Eli Slesk hit a ninth inning home run to tie the game and send it to extra innings.
The Wolverines will send Jace Brinkerhoff to the mound on Friday with Saturday and Sunday's starters to be determined.
Air Force (7-36) and Utah Valley played once earlier this season with the Wolverines winning 7-3 behind a complete game from Brinkerhoff, who also leads the team with a .398 batting average.
Northern Colorado (10-28) lost two games at #10 Wichita State on Wednesday and has lost 11 straight heading into a game Friday against Air Force at 3pm.
Follwing the weekend, Utah Valley will host Utah on Tuesday night in its only game of the week.
